As we approach the end of the semester, with one foot already out the door, it can be hard to keep up with all of the deadlines presented to college students at the end of the semester. Here are some tips and advice for finishing out the semester strong before racing off to a much-deserved break.

Students during the last 5 weeks of the semester may begin to receive automatic Early Alerts that focus on students who are on the cusp on passing a course. This is a perfect time to engage with your faculty members during their office hours.

Focus on your overall wellness including:

- Get enough sleep. Aim for 7-8 hours a night to help your brain function and your mood.
- Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch. Avoid skipping meals or relying on junk food. Choose foods that give you energy and nutrients.
- Do your homework in the morning. This way, you can have more free time in the afternoon and evening and avoid procrastination and stress.
- Go off campus to study. Find a quiet and comfortable place where you can focus and avoid distractions. You can also change your study environment to keep yourself motivated.
- Take study breaks. Don't cram for hours without resting. Take a ten-minute break every hour to rest your eyes and mind. You can stretch, walk, or do something relaxing.
